Hello Guyz, Being an Administrator of the Un-Official PHP Fusion Indian Support Site, I am starting Development for the Indian Locale, i.e, Hindi. I want to Inform you that the Development is going currently on this URL : http://ankurthakur.in/ There is a Language Switcher Panel given on the Left Side. Details : setlocale( LC_TIME, "hi_IN" ) ; Locale Character Set : UTF-8 Locale XML Language : hi (Hindi) and same Language in TinyMCE and PHPMailer Currently, Some Locale Files have been Changed to UTF-8 Encoding and Changes are getting made in them. Members Side (Typing in Hindi) : For Members Side or Client Side, We will be going to Use/Implement Google Transliterate API into the System. Please Check http://code.google.com/apis/language/...rview.html for more info about it. If anyone is Interested in Contributing to Locale, Just Send a Private Message regarding it to me. Quote Remember: You should be familiar with Hindi Language for that - - - - - - - - - - Files Progress : For Files Progress, Please Refer to the Post : http://ankurthakur.in/forum/viewthrea...37#post_37 Th Language Conversion is pretty Slow due to Lack of Indian Members who knows Hindi. So, It may take time to Complete the whole list of Files. Sorry for the Inconvenience Edited by Ankur on 02-07-2011 05:54 Be What you want to be...

The language switcher does not work as it should. Unidentified characters appear, not similar to anything known... But anyway: keep on your great work, mate. tomorrow today will be yesterday |

Actually, I am using Hindi Text in Welcome panel... So if you will change the Language to English which is given in Language Switcher, it will not show those Characters but will show the English Locale settings... So in order to show both the Hindi and English, I have to change the Locale character set to utf-8 which contains both of them... By the way, Thanks for your compliments ..... Today it works, but when I visited the site two days ago it positively did not, as I described in my former posting. I am used to hindi characters (allthough I cannot translate them), but last time unidentified characters appeared. tomorrow today will be yesterday |

Actually after reading your post, I changed the charset of English Locale to UTF-8 so that people can easily view both the Languages or it shouldn't show the Unidentified characters... Quote Post#1 Updated with List of Files which are Done converting to Hindi. Edited by Ankur on 09-03-2011 12:56 Be What you want to be...
